Reliance Foundry was founded in 1925, and grew to become Vancouver, Canada’s largest working foundry. In 1966, a fire at the original Vancouver site forced the company to relocate to Surrey.
By the 1990s, Reliance Foundry began outsourcing production to increase the range of offered products and expand to become a continental supplier. In 2012, we were awarded the Surrey Board of Trade’s Business Excellence Award, and in 2016, we were a nominee for the Grant Thornton and Canadian Chamber of Commerce Private Business Growth Award.
