Material Grade: 316 Stainless Steel

While both 304 and 316 grade stainless steels are commonly used for bollards, and both offer protection against corrosion and wear, they differ in composition and the level of protection they provide. 316 has enhanced resistance to corrosion in harsh marine environments, as well as salts used in sprays and de-icing products in areas that experience snow and ice frequently.

Stainless Steel Bollard Care

Routine cleaning with soap and water is usually sufficient to maintain 316 stainless steel’s corrosion resistance and appearance. Use a soft nylon brush to remove any dirt, wash with mild soap, then rinse in clean water and dry with a soft cloth.
