Most Reliance Foundry bollards can be equipped with bike-locking arms. Take advantage of sleek, contemporary designs or ornate cast bollards to suit surrounding buildings and landscapes. Arms are available in stainless steel and powder-coated finishes to match bollard styles and to ensure long-term durability.
Bike bollards require only one installation point—whereas bike racks often require at least two. Many bike bollards can also be used as covers for steel pipe security posts—or be installed with removable mountings for added flexibility in mixed-use spaces. When used with removable mountings, use locking arms as lifting handles for more convenient installation and removal.

To ensure long service life with minimal maintenance, select decorative bollards made from quality materials. All ductile iron, steel and aluminum bollards feature powder coatings to ensure lasting durability against weathering and use.
Ductile iron: Unlike standard cast iron, which is highly brittle and susceptible to fracture, ductile iron offers excellent strength, hardness and resilience to wear—making it more suitable for site furnishing applications. Ductile iron is highly castable, allowing for more intricate patterns and ornamentation.
Steel: Steel bollards are made from fabricated steel, customized to suit a range of ornamental and security applications. Due to its strength and durability, steel is one of the most widely used building materials worldwide. With proper care, it has an extremely long lifespan. Oversize models are especially suitable for large, high-impact steel pipe applications.
Stainless steel: Stainless steel is naturally resistant to corrosion and wear. Reliance Foundry uses high-quality 316 grade stainless steel for the highest resistance to corrosion—even in saline environments with regular exposure to sea water and de-icing salts. Stainless steel offers a bright, reflective surface, ideal for contemporary designs.
Better community spaces
Bike bollards offer simple storage solutions for commercial and other outdoor spaces. They are simple and non-intrusive when placed in existing city spaces and parking lots—and can encourage healthier and more environmentally friendly lifestyles.
As a convenient form of bike parking, bike bollards enhance new or existing landscapes to accommodate local staff, customers and other visitors. Aside from directing pedestrian and motor traffic, they are highly visible—encouraging riders to avoid chaining their bikes to nearby railings, trees, benches or other unsuitable alternatives that can obstruct pedestrians. Bike bollards offer great value for dense urban areas. Universities, commercial areas, libraries and other public buildings are prime locations.
