Reliance Foundry has successfully sourced, developed, and imported thousands of metal products for customers throughout North America. We are currently working with more than 40 international foundries and factories. We have established a complete organization of management for product development, quality control, logistics, and post-sales services. Reliance Foundry provides products made in both ferrous and non-ferrous alloys (cast iron, ductile iron, alloy iron, carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, aluminium, etc.). Our production methods include investment casting, lost foam casting, die casting, v-process casting, closed & open die forging, green sand, no-bake and permanent mold casting.
 
Reliance Foundry offers a wide range of associated casting services, including drafting and design, custom pattern construction, fabrication and machining, products assembly, specialized heat treatment processes, shot blasting, painting and custom coatings. We have the full capacity to machine all the parts that we produce – including conventional or precision CNC machining. The common wisdom that imported castings offer significant cost advantages is only a part of the story; with over eight decades of experience in successfully operating a foundry we understand what it takes to get from design to the delivery of good castings.
 
Reliance Foundry has established complete systems of communication, product development, quality control, and the logistics for exporting goods from China. Our sister foundries in China are capable of producing castings from a few ounces up to 5,000 lbs. We can provide a variety of alloys using a wide variety of casting and molding processes. In addition, Reliance Foundry is increasingly providing it’s customers with one-stop shopping for castings which require machining. The foundries we work with have devoted much attention and investment in the machining end of production. This means that the castings you get from our suppliers will not need to go to a third party machine shop for secondary operations. This in turn eliminates losing parts as they flow from the casting to the machining stage and you also eliminating handling and shipping charges. The parts are delivered defect free with a single manufacturer standing behind the integrity of the completed part.

• Suggest the appropriate facility and technology for your components. Our staff advises and monitors each of our foundry operations from melting through critical heat treating, inspection and all other required processes.
• Verify quality and consistency of all component specifications. When you purchase castings from Reliance Foundry you can be confident that your materials were produced to required specifications, and all inspections have been conducted properly. In addition to on site inspections, your components are routinely tested at our own shop in Surrey, British Columbia.
• Handle all administrative, transportation and customs issues. Language, regulations, ocean freight, duties and all the myriad details of international sourcing are taken care of by our experienced staff.
